Not all free-range chickens are truly pasture-raised. Rivercrest birds are regularly moved to fresh pasture or allowed to roam freely within protected grazing areas. This regenerative approach encourages natural behaviors, improves soil health, distributes nutrients naturally, and keeps our pastures thriving.Our chickens spend their days foraging for grasses, seeds, insects, and worms, which promotes healthier birds and produces more flavorful meat and vibrant, farm-fresh eggs.
Our poultry is:

- Fed locally sourced, non-GMO grains and natural supplements
Eggs with a Difference
The diet of a pasture-raised hen directly affects the quality of her eggs. Birds that forage naturally produce eggs with rich golden yolks, outstanding flavor, and exceptional freshness. Research has shown that eggs from pasture-raised hens may contain higher levels of beneficial nutrients, including Omega-3 fatty acids and Vitamins A and E, compared to conventionally produced eggs.
